Williamsville, NY (October 19, 2011) – Broadleaf Results Inc., announced today that Lynne Marie Finn, President/CEO, has been named as a President’s Award recipient by the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) organization. The award was presented at the WIPP 2011 Annual Leadership Conference, Breaking New Ground and Building Opportunity Beyond the Blueprint, last week in Washington, D.C.

“Lynne is a valuable member of WIPP’s Board of Directors. When I need advice I know I can rely on Lynne for visionary, rational and logical decision making,” remarked Barbara Kasoff, WIPP President. “She has been instrumental in positioning WIPP as the leading non-partisan policy organization and has served as national Chair of WIPP’s Economic Blueprint, it’s legislative agenda, speaking nationally on its importance.”

Finn has been an active WIPP board member since 2007 and most recently served as Secretary and Chairman of the Economic Blueprint, which champions women-owned business legislation to the U.S. Congress.

Beyond WIPP, Finn serves on the national Board of Directors and the Finance Committee of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), an organization funded primarily by Fortune 500 companies to provide women-owned and operated companies with national WBE certification. In addition, she is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO). She serves on its certification committee and travels within a 200-mile radius of Buffalo, NY, to conduct required site visits of businesses seeking WBE certifications from WBENC.

The WIPP Awards Ceremony was part of WIPP’s three-day Annual Leadership Conference in Washington, DC, that ran from October 11th – 13th. The conference agenda included important economic briefings on current policy issues impacting women business owners’ growth, a high-level briefing by The White House, a Congressional Luncheon and the exciting unveiling of WIPP’s updated Economic Blueprint used as the organization’s call to action to the Administration, U.S. Congress and Federal Agencies.
