Sonoco has presented Broadleaf Results, Inc., a Superior Group company, with a 2017 Sustainability Award for achievements in sustainable business practices. Broadleaf makes a concerted effort to innovate in a manner that both reduces its environmental footprint and enhances its social and community activism.
The Sustainability Award means a great deal to Broadleaf, which has invested in and grown its sustainability efforts significantly over the past several years. Today, Broadleaf focuses on generating the highest levels of sustainability by reducing energy usage and resource waste, and by refining facility management practices on an ongoing basis. Since 2010, Broadleaf has reduced its electrical usage by nearly 20%.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by a company such as Sonoco, who holds its own sustainability initiatives to such high standards,” said Lynne Marie Finn, President and CEO of Broadleaf. “I’d like to thank Broadleaf’s tireless employees for their continuing efforts. We also owe Sonoco a debt of gratitude, as they serve as role models in their own sustainable business practices!”
